In this role, you will be responsible for providing regular surveys of the mining areas to support mine planning and production activities. You will also keep mine digital models up-to-date with current workings.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Underground Surveys: Conduct regular surveys of the mining areas to support mine planning and production activities.
* Mine Digital Models: Keep mine digital models up-to-date with current workings.
* Drill Rings Markup: Ensure mark up of drill rings to enable continuous cycle of drilling to occur.
* CMS and Hovermap Scans: Conduct underground CMS, Hovermap Scans for as-mined production void models, production reconciliation and mining records.
* Survey Plans: Producing and maintaining survey plans including survey instructions (memos), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency escape & rescue plans.
* Survey Control Establishment: Undertake and assist with survey control establishment & extension in accordance with ICMS SP1 V1.7.
* Work Health and Safety: Ensure all survey duties are carried out to conform with the Work Health and Safety (Mine and Petroleum Sites) Act & Regulations as well as the Surveying and Spatial Information Act and Regulations.
* Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain survey equipment including cleaning and inspections, performing regular calibrations and equipment adjustment.
* Project Work: Engage in project work to optimise mining efficiencies and the provision of general surveying services to the site as required.
* Positive Working Relationships: Foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including all employees, managers and customers.
* Teamwork: Work independently and with the team to ensure collective and individual goals and objectives are achieved.

* Associated Documentation: Complete associated documentation including; purchase orders, WPIs, pre-starts, JSEAs and risk assessments.
