Our Sydney branch in Moorebank has an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our
traineeship
program. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to get on-the-job training whilst studying for a nationally recognised Diploma – all supported and paid for by us
Your Traineeship will help you
Learn about an essential industry that is Freight Forwarding
Gain exposure into air/sea import/export operations
Understand shipping/airline transportation regulations
Liaise with various stakeholders such as clients and overseas agents
Understand pricing structure, rates, and quoting
Work in collaboration with Operations and Sales
Provide office and admin support to the Sydney branch and ANZ head office
Manage incoming calls and greet visitors
Book catering, flights, accommodation and meetings as required
Ensure general maintenance of facilities and equipment
About you
Strong commitment and motivation with a desire to learn
Good literacy and communication skills (reading, writing, numerical, verbal)
Competent in I.T. skills with the ability to learn new systems
A team player who is not afraid to ask questions and contribute to the team
Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, administration and organisational skills
