Our organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance team.
About the Role:
* Provide timely intervention and guidance on breakdowns and planned works to minimize machine downtime for open pit operations.
* Liaise with vendors for component repairs and organize direct hiring of contractors for tasks on site.
* Review daily machine down reports and reconcile downtime, failure mode, and department code on fleet management platform for accurate data collection on machine reliability and breakdowns.
* Track and monitor performance and key time statistics of the mobile maintenance team, identifying areas for improvement.
* Complete safety interactions, CCVs (Critical Control Verification) with all mobile maintenance work groups.
* Support investigations and drive corrective actions.
Requirements:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Formal leadership and supervisory training.
* A current Unencumbered Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
Experience:
* A minimum of Ten years mechanical maintenance experience including a minimum of Five years in a supervisor role in a similar operation.
* Strong leadership experience and ability to engage and empower large teams.
* Experience in performance management of team members with the ability to coach, mentor, and empower others.
* Excellent computer literacy with ability to use integrated management systems, Microsoft Office suite, INX, and Pronto.
* Strong understanding of Maintenance work management processes.
