Our client, a government agency in Canberra, is seeking a
Senior Business Analyst - Enterprise Integration
to join their Funding and Disclosure Reform Program. This program aims to enhance regulatory capabilities by developing and implementing new systems and processes that increase transparency and accountability.
In this role, you will lead business analysis activities across all project phases including pre-discovery, discovery, design, and delivery within a multidisciplinary agile team. Your expertise will be essential in designing workshops, managing stakeholder relationships, and translating complex business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements. You will contribute to producing user stories, system documentation, wireframes, and data models that support delivery teams including developers, testers, and DevOps.
The ideal candidate will have strong capabilities in business process modelling (using BPMN or equivalent), analysis of complex system integrations across cloud and legacy platforms, and aligning outputs with enterprise architecture frameworks. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and a strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure are highly valued. Skilled collaboration using tools like Azure DevOps for backlog management and release planning is essential.
You will engage with diverse stakeholders—from legal and policy teams to technical and operational staff—to ensure solutions meet legislative and policy requirements while fostering a positive workplace culture. A demonstrated ability to analyse data flows, system interfaces, and APIs will support your success in this role.
