Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning operations at a remote mining village in Central QLD.
Working on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, you will rotate with another Supervisor to ensure seamless site coverage and maintain a strong work–life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a team of mine site cleaners to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
* Create efficient cleaning schedules and allocate tasks to meet site requirements.
* Inspire a culture of safety and teamwork that delivers spotless, reliable facilities every single day
* Monitor cleaning standards and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.
* Manage stock control of cleaning supplies and equipment.
* Work closely with the Site Manager and other departments to support smooth daily operations.
* Train, mentor, and develop team members to help them grow and succeed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience as a Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor or similar role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety requirements.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
* A National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months).
* Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (highly desirable).
* Full working rights in Australia.
