Join Our Team as an Automation Operator!We have several newly created permanent, full-time positions for Automation Operators to join our team in Moorebank, Western Sydney.Schedule: Initially, these roles will follow a Monday to Friday day shift schedule. Your role is vital in maintaining productivity, equipment availability, and safety standards, while supporting quality and teamwork within specified timescales.This position is crucial during the final project stages and transition to operational activities at our complex store pick site. It is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting operational outputs and continuous improvement, including onboarding and training new team members.The role involves working in areas such as receiving and shipping goods, organizing pallets, unpacking items, and utilizing automated systems to manage products.ResponsibilitiesProvide support in the Control Room during absences or high demand.Assist and mentor new starters, fostering a supportive learning environment.Promote safety-first culture and ensure compliance with WHS legislation.Quickly address system stoppages and blockages, aiming for permanent solutions.Support equipment maintenance and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.Maintain clean and safe work areas, following “Clean as we Go” principles.Communicate courteously and collaborate effectively with team members and technical support.Provide guidance and participate in training activities.Coordinate with technical teams for maintenance and address minor defects.Conduct visual checks, assist with servicing, and clean robotics and ASRS equipment.Skills and QualificationsA disciplined and proactive mindset.Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.Strong safety awareness and adherence to guidelines.Willingness to work different shifts.Decision-making capabilities and effective communication skills.Customer service experience and a desire to deliver excellent service.Willingness to learn and adhere to safe practices.Training in simple maintenance tasks is advantageous; experience with SCADA systems is a bonus.What we offerWe offer a competitive remuneration package to a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
