FDV Child Advocate

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled FDV Child Advocate to support children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence (FDV). This role ensures children's voices, rights, and safety remain central to service responses and decision-making.
Working alongside non-offending caregivers and partner agencies, you will provide trauma-informed, child-centered advocacy and support to promote safety, healing, and long-term wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• To provide child-centered advocacy and case management services to children who have experienced domestic and family violet, recognising children as victim-survivors in their own right.
• To promote children's safety, emotional wellbeing, stability and developmental needs are met through trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate practice.
• To develop and implement individual care plans for children, ensuring their protecting, healing and integration into safe and supportive environments.
• To ensure children's voices are heard and represented, while working closely with parents, caregivers, case workers and refuge support the child's overall safety and well-being.
• To provide trauma-informed care and developmentally appropriate interventions tailored to the unique needs of children affected by domestic violence.
