Salary – $124,771 - $135,527 plus employer’s superannuation, annual leave loading and environmental allowance.
Your role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Psychologist to join the team at Kirkconnell Correctional Centre a purpose-built pre-release and reintegration facility located in the picturesque Central Tablelands of NSW.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Psychologist you will lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality psychological services for people in custody, provide expert clinical consultation and guidance within the multidisciplinary Service Integration Team, and oversee the day-to-day provision of care to ensure best-practice models are consistently applied. In this role you will shape the delivery of psychological services, provide guidance and support to staff, and assist men in custody as they prepare for a successful transition back into the community.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum four-year accredited qualification in Psychology
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Eligibility to supervise provisional psychologists and students
- Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required
- Proven expertise in psychology
- Strong knowledge of contemporary correctional principles and risk assessment frameworks
- Experience delivering psychological interventions for mental health, cognitive impairment, and behavioural needs
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and supervisory capabilities
- Sound knowledge of the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities associated with psychological practise
