Project Coordinator
This role is an exciting opportunity to support the development and execution of government reform strategies within the Consumer Affairs portfolio.
* The Project Coordinator will play a vital part in delivering key projects that span several areas, including housing, cost of living, and local government initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills, records management expertise, research abilities, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work effectively with others across the branch and anticipate what might be needed to achieve project objectives.
The following key accountabilities outline the responsibilities of this position:
* Undertake comprehensive research on a wide range of topics and provide summary information to colleagues to support effective decision-making.
* Develop written and visual products to support decision-making processes.
* Assist in maintaining accurate business/project management databases, registers, and systems.
* Organize project meetings, briefings, and presentations, including the preparation and distribution of materials pre- and post-meeting (agendas, minutes, actions, etc.) and follow up on action items.
* Maintain high-quality project records management systems and processes for the teams.
* Provide well-reasoned and clear written advice to support the delivery of projects.
* Support the development of key policy documents, including briefings, correspondence, submissions, reports, presentations, and Cabinet Papers.
