An established CA firm with six offices across Sydney is looking to add an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to their growing Parramatta team. This office consists of 12 staff and 1 Partner, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where you will receive hands-on mentoring from experienced managers and partners. Many of the firm’s partners and managers started their careers here as graduates or junior accountants, highlighting the genuine long-term career progression available. You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries, with some larger clients included, allowing you to broaden both your technical and client-facing experience. The Role You will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for a variety of SME clients while working closely with senior team members and partners. Responsibilities will include: Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns BAS, IAS and GST compliance Assisting with client queries and ongoing client communication Supporting managers and partners on client engagements Working with a variety of SME businesses across different industries Software MYOB AE (primary system) Clients also use Xero and Reckon About You 2–5 years experience within public practice Studying or completed CA or CPA Strong communication and organisational skills Motivated to continue developing within public practice Benefits Training every two weeks to support ongoing development Hands-on mentoring from experienced managers Clear progression opportunities within the firm Supportive and close-knit team environment Exposure to a broad client base and industries This is an office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with their team and learning directly from senior staff.
