Key Responsibilities:
* Assess planning applications, providing advice to developers and the public
* Support enforcement and development of planning controls
* Contribute to planning reports and attend tribunal hearings
In this two-year contract, you'll work on various projects and contribute to Mildura's planning scheme development. You'll have opportunities for professional growth and be eligible to apply for the Regional Planning Cadet Program.
Requirements:
* Current or prospective enrollment in a recognized town planning course
* Genuine interest in urban development and community planning

The position commences at Band 4 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement, ranging from $70,611 to $75,498 per annum. Upon completion of set milestones, the cadet will progress through to Band 5, ranging from $77,725 to $89,201 per annum, plus statutory superannuation.
