In this pivotal role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of claims from inception through to resolution. Key responsibilities include investigating liability, analysing medical and rehabilitation data, assessing claim values, and negotiating settlements.This position offers a stimulating and varied work environment, with continuous challenges and opportunities for professional growth.This role may be ideal for recent law graduates or candidates nearing the completion of their studies. What you'll do: Manage and negotiate claims, including communication with solicitors or direct claimants via phone, correspondence, and attending settlement conferences or hearings.Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to accurately assess claims.Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met, with ongoing review of reports.Implement strategies to resolve claims cost-effectively.Facilitate early access to rehabilitation to promote optimal recovery.Negotiate claim settlements in line with legislative, regulatory, and procedural guidelines.Provide excellent customer service to legislative authorities, employers, and injured claimants, ensuring compliance and timely processing. What you'll bring: Knowledge and experience in handling CTP or personal injury claims or legal background preferred.Tertiary qualifications in Law, Allied Health, or Insurance are advantageous.Excellent analytical and technical skills.High attention to detail.Proactive, energetic team player.Professional approach to claims handling.Strong verbal communication, listening, rapport-building, and negotiation skills.Strong administrative and written skills.High integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to workplace improvements.
