This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven and commercially minded individual to join our WFI business and grow a portfolio of existing clients while driving new business across the Bendigo and surrounding areas. As a Regional Sales Representative (RSR), you'll be responsible for achieving profitable growth by developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, alliance partners, and key stakeholders, and actively engaging with the local community and business networks.
Success in this role requires a strong customer focus, commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver our client experience model through personalised service and proactive sales activity.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Bendigo, Victoria.
What You'll Do
Achieve annual sales targets through a mix of renewals and new business, supported by proactive lead generation, sales campaigns, and strong pipeline management via alliance partners, existing clients, and networking activities.
Provide accurate quotes and required documentation in line with Underwriting and Business Practice guidelines, while applying rating principles to assess and manage risk.
Develop and implement a Sales Plan, track performance through regular reporting, and identify trends and opportunities to improve sales outcomes and drive profitable growth.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through community involvement, alliance partnerships, and personalised service that aligns with our client experience model.
Demonstrate commercial acumen, a strong customer focus, and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic and competitive environment.
What You'll Bring
Experience in a sales and service role in the insurance industry
Accountability for delivering on a sales target and profitable growth for the business
Demonstrated the ability to engage and maintain strong client relationships
Understand regulatory environment, underwriting procedures and rating principles
Trained to the level of Tier 1 PS 146 or higher in relation to general insurance products
Strategic mindset, financial acumen, customer focus, and results driven
