As an Asset Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough hazard and defect identifications, as well as assess the condition of Council assets.
About the Role
* You will be conducting programmed and reactive inspections on nominated assets and providing detailed reports on their condition, highlighting any defects that may need attention.
* Based on your findings, you will provide recommendations for work scope, justification, and treatments for identified defects.
Your Qualifications
* An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or substantial experience in inspecting assets is required.
* A current 'C' class driver's licence is mandatory.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset construction and repair, RMPC, and maintenance practices, including interpreting drawings and plans for roadwork.
* Familiarity with various information technology systems, such as Microsoft Office suite, GIS, and Business Management Systems.
* Essential certifications include Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD), Traffic Management Implementation (TMI), and MUTCD.
* A minimum Level 1 Bridge Inspector certification is also necessary.
