And right now, we’re on the hunt for our next true believer - an Account Director to join our Hobart team. You’ll lead a range of exciting brands from our waterfront office on Franklin Wharf, and play a key role in delivering outstanding client service and campaign outcomes.
About the Role
As an Account Director, you’ll be the strategic and operational lead across your client portfolio. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly – from briefing creative and production, to managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing execution. You’ll also:
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
* Work alongside our Head of Strategy to develop briefs and guide strategic thinking
* Present creative work and strategic recommendations with confidence and clarity
* Support and guide Account Managers and Executives, sharing knowledge and upskilling the team
* Take part in new business pitches and help drive agency growth
* Balance client expectations while championing high-quality creative output
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end management of advertising campaigns from briefing to delivery
* Manage client relationships and understand their business needs to add value across the board
* Oversee internal workflows and ensure agency processes are followed
* Lead client meetings, prepare reports, and contribute to strategy development
* Mentor junior team members and promote best practices
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Manage quotes, retainers, revenue forecasts, and account profitability
* Liaise with creative, strategy, production and finance teams to ensure high standards and attention to detail
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, psychology or a related field
* 6+ years’ experience in an agency or marketing environment
* Strong experience managing campaigns and presenting to clients
* Ability to think strategically and provide clear, actionable insights
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Solid understanding of creative and production processes – including digital platforms
* Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
* Highly organised with strong time management skills
* Financial acumen – confident in forecasting and managing budgets
