Clinical Scope
As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across elective, urgent and emergency cases, with perioperative clinic duties shared on rotation.

* Orthopaedics: joint replacements, trauma, broad general orthopaedics
* General Surgery: laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel resections, hernia repairs, gastroenterology
* Obstetrics & Gynaecology: epidurals, caesarean section anaesthesia

Eligible SIMGs Can Access
* Recognition of specialist qualifications listed by the Medical Board of Australia
* Specialist registration upon approval
* Only six months of supervised practice before full independent practice
Currently available in Anaesthesia, Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and General Practice, with more specialties to be added.
