Toll Remote Logistics' Toll Helicopter supports large-scale integrated remote logistics operations as well as providing specialist stand-alone services.
As part of Toll Remote Logistics' remote operations, we provide helicopter support services in locations that are remote and challenging. Our customers include both commercial and government organisations who need to know they can rely on our safety, professionalism, reliability and quality processes.
Our stand-alone services include emergency medical, search and rescue and overwater operations. We also provide support in remote locations to specialist Police and Defense operations using multi-engine IFR NVG aircraft.
Every one of our pilots has extensive helicopter flying experience in a broad range of situations. This means that no matter where we are, we know we are providing the best and safest service possible.
**Job Description**:
We have a unique opportunity to join Toll Group in our Helicopters business as an Aviation Stores Logistics Officer based in Bankstown. The Aviation Stores Logistics Officer will be responsible for the Supply Chain, Stores and Logistics of Toll Helicopters Equipment, Spare Parts and Consumable inventory. This function will support in the safety and availability of the Toll Helicopters fleet of aircraft by pre locating equipment and spares at various locations for use. This role will see you working 12hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
- Manage the timely actions of the Toll Helicopters Supply Chain including Aviation and commercial stores, Logistics of Equipment, Spare Parts and Consumable inventory to ensure Helicopter availability is maximised and records are accurate
- Self-Supervise and bring to the attention of the relevant maintenance manager of non-compliance with Toll Helicopter Policy and Procedure issues
- Ensure any maintenance requiring specialist services is carried out by suitably qualified suppliers
- Complete the documentation records correctly
- Show initiative, persistence and continuous improvement in all processes
- Knowledge of CASA and WHS regulatory requirements & processes as they pertain to aircraft and safety
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Possess good communication skills and conflict resolution skills.
- Possess good technology skills to operate the company ERP system.
- Be medically fit, to be able to lift and move heavy inventory items and work in confined spaces and at heights on platforms around aircraft and in vehicles.
- Be able to concentrate and have an attention to detail in all work (this work is responsible for public safety) A highly organized and systematic person.
- A trade background would be desired.
- Work effectively and flexibly within available time.
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment would be desired.
- A valid forklift license would be desired
