Food Services Assistant – Arcare Hove
Arcare Hove is a 121‐bed residence that offers a rare opportunity for a Food Services Assistant (FSA) to support dining services and contribute to the resident experience at Arcare's first South Australian residence.

About the Role
The Catering Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the overall well‐being of residents by contributing to their dining experiences. They help create a welcoming atmosphere during mealtimes and work diligently to ensure that residents receive nourishing and enjoyable meals tailored to their individual needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food and preparing simple dishes under the supervision of the Cook or Head Chef.
* Help serve meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring that each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
* Set up dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items (cutlery, plates, glasses) are in place.
* Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area. May also assist with cleaning kitchen surfaces and storage areas.
* Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
* Food Handlers Certificate.
* Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn.
