Complete Staff Solutions are recruiting for a Permanent, Full Time, Talent Acquisition Officer for our client, City of Coffs Harbour
Salary: $82,502.37 per year + Super
Start Date: Happy to consider 2-4 week notice period
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Coffs Harbour NSW 2450
Purpose of the role:
* Deliver end-to-end recruitment activities and associated arrangements in supporting hiring managers across the City of Coffs Harbour (the "City").
* Facilitate and support effective strategies to enable positive candidate and stakeholder experiences across the talent acquisition process.
* Provide support for broader organisational development activities and assist the Organisational Development (OD) Group in establishing a high performance organisation through the development of its people and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes including:
* Recruitment marketing and developing job adverts
* Candidate shortlisting
* Interview scheduling & facilitation
* Conducting reference checks and managing pre-employment checks
* Preparation of employment contracts
* Contributing to a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
* Provide advice and guidance to people leaders on recruitment procedure. campaign statuses, candidate engagement and onboarding new employees
* Liaison with external agencies regarding permanent and short term recruitment needs.
* Provide human resources administration support to the broader OD group relating to individual employment arrangements, including;
* Flexible working arrangements
* Parental leave
* Contracts of employment
* Change in employment status
* Off boarding.
* Assist with updating and maintaining campaigns across the City approved platforms e.g., assisting with job alerts
* Provide general support to the OD group including maintenance of systems, ensuring accuracy of position and people related information and records
* Engage with the WHS Team in relation to pre-employment medicals (PEM)
* Support the review and implementation of contemporary human resource processes, policies, procedures and systems based on best practice research.
* Contribute to the City's OD intranet site ensuring relevant policies, management practices and information is kept up to date
* Utilise individual capabilities to perform other reasonable duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Human Resources Management or equivalent relevant experience.
* Sound experience delivering end to end recruitment in a diverse and high volume environment.
* Ability to provide two work related references
* Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
* Ability to pass a Urine Drug and Alcohol Test
Desirable:
* Demonstrated experience in interpreting Awards and related human resources legislation.
* Current Class C Drivers Licence.
