About you:
You will be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously. You will have the skills and ability to repair and organize maintenance schedules for all requirements.
You must have experience and the ability to work within our designated maintenance team to perform additional general maintenance tasks as required however experience in painting and plastering is highly desirable.
About the role:
Along with a team of existing Duty Technicians you will ensure that hotel areas are maintained to the highest possible standard and remain a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees. You will also be responsible for prioritizing work orders through urgent requests, such as general repairs, work on minor projects and assist the Maintenance Team in carrying out preventative maintenance in and around the hotel.
Skills and Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess the following essential skills:
* General maintenance knowledge with relevant experience
* Strong eye for detail
* Ability to problem solve and rectify issues using relevant tools
* Experience in both painting and plastering is highly desirable
* Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written communication
* Able to work with a safety-first mentality
* Ability to work a variable roster across 6 days (Monday to Saturday)
