We are looking for an allrounder to join our Asphalt Plant team. No experience necessary - training provided for the right candidate!
Based out of our Dandenong Asphalt Plant, you'll learn how to run and maintain an ASTEC 300 TPA asphalt plant. You'll also have opportunities to be trained in other machinery and gain the tickets and permits that come with them.
Responsibilities
* In a hands-on role, support the day-to-day operation of the plant and yard, including using FEL and asphalt plant software to put together asphalt mixes, loading cold feed bins, and moving stockpiles.
* Operate equipment such as a Hitachi ZW180 loader; forklift or Bobcat experience is highly regarded.
* Coordinate with crews and customers over the phone, communicating clearly, handling enquiries and problem solving in a calm, solutions-focused way.

You're a great fit if you
* Enjoy problem solving
* Have a forklift and/or wheel loader ticket
* Are able to pick up new computer systems quickly
* Have confident customer service and communication skills
* Have experience working with SWMS
* If you've previously run and maintained a large fixed plant, that\'s great, but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate
