Overview

The School of Nursing, within the College of Health and Education, is a highly engaged, supportive and innovative academic team. The Nursing team focuses on excellence in teaching, research and professional practice and collaborates with clinical partners and national/international researchers to provide high‐quality, student‐focused learning across undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs. We are seeking 2 x Lecturer of Nursing to join the team. The roles are primarily based at the Mandurah campus, with teaching at the South Street campus as required and time split between both locations based on teaching and operational needs.

Responsibilities

* Contribute to teaching across the Discipline of Nursing through preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, seminars, practical and simulation‐based teaching, workshops, assessment, and student supervision.
* Actively engage in curriculum development, teaching quality and educational innovation, working with students and colleagues to enhance nursing education and learning outcomes.
* Provide academic guidance to undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher degree by research students, fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for a diverse student cohort.

Qualifications

* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Master's degree relevant to the appointment, or equivalent experience meeting AQF Level 9 outcomes.
* Experience in nursing education with positive student and colleague feedback.
* Commitment to evidence‐based teaching and contemporary nursing pedagogy.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

What We Offer

This full‐time, continuing appointment (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $113K – $134K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
