About the role
"My Community Health" is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team servicing the NSW Central Coast region. As a part-time Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to our elderly and disabled clients within the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time work arrangement.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing comprehensive nursing care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
2. Conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualised care plans
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
4. Monitoring client health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the appropriate medical professionals
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care
6. Maintaining accurate and detailed client records
7. Promoting client independence, dignity and quality of life
What we're looking for
1. Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
2. Minimum 2 years' experience in a community nursing or similar role
3. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of aged and disability care practices
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
6. Commitment to providing person-centred, compassionate care
7. Current driver's licence
