As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Lead Service Technician with routine preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, vehicle recovery, on-call support and training of maintenance personnel.
This is a fixed term 6 month contract with the potential to lead to a permanent position.
**Key Responsibilities**:
* Day-to-day field service support to ensure vehicles are operating safely and in accordance with contract performance requirements
* Workshop housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and safe work environment
* Commitment to a Zero Harm workplace that promotes an excellent teamwork attitude
* Carry out general housekeeping duties required by the supervisor or other tasks which may be incidental & peripheral to your trades assistant role
* Ensure that the fleet is running efficiently and safely and that we abide by relevant industry standards.
* Able to work according to rotating roster arrangements, including weekends and public holidays.
* Cleaning of vehicles - Steam Cleaning seats, washing, cleaning windows.
* Washing down pits.
* Able to work in a team environment as well as independently and proactively with minimum supervision.
* Willing to undertake further training to achieve additional qualifications if required.
* Able to undertake various activities that may involve a degree of physical labour.
* Able to work according to rotating roster arrangements, including weekends and public holidays.
* Be prepared to hold a forklift or other permit when required.
