About our client:
Our client is one of the worlds largest diversified natural resource companies, operating across mining, metals and energy sectors globally. They now have opportunities for safety orientated and goal focused Surface Electricians to commence ASAP on a 2 month contract.
What You Will Be Doing:
Working an 8:6 roster, you will play a key role in maintaining and ensuring the reliability and compliance of electrical infrastructure across site operations.
* Maintaining electrical safety standards across the village and site infrastructure
* Operation and monitoring of the site power station
* Conducting daily electrical maintenance across plant and field assets
* Performing preventative maintenance and statutory inspections
* Participating in daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant Acts, Regulations and Standards
What You Will Need:
* Current QLD Electrical Licence
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical w/DAS
* Strong fault-finding experience in commercial and/or industrial environments
* Experience with preventive maintenance and statutory testing
* Current Low Voltage Rescue and CPR certification
* Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (desirable)
* Current MIM medical (Highly regarded)
