Network Design Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Design Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing network and system administration support.
* About the Role:
* The Network Design Professional will be responsible for delivering network support and configuration as well as factory system management.
* The role requires hardware and software installation, configuration of servers and workstations to support architecture.
* The professional will validate end-to-end system functionality through unit and integration testing.
* Key Responsibilities Include:
* Providing problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems.
* Implementation, support and configuration of network and infrastructure equipment.
* Support the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems.
* Administer user system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements.
* Maintain key relationships with stakeholders in IT and the business by providing face-to-face collaboration.
* Monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning.
* Promote security awareness to mitigate security risks.
* Perform system monitoring and reporting using approved tools and processes to validate system health.
* Participate in customer and IT Change Boards to understand business requirements and provide analysis to determine changes required.
* Collaborate with senior personnel in performing risk assessments on proposed changes to determine impact on customer business processes and systems downtime and proposes changes as needed.
* Implement system changes across large, complex and diverse server environments.
* Evaluate business impact against environmental conditions.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in network design and administration.
* Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
