We are a national provider of surface-mounted platforms for commercial construction projects. As a project-led business we are seeking another savvy Installation Coordinatorto be based in Bathurst, Central West NSW impacting numerous projects which are underway nationally at any one time.
The position is both an internal and customer-facing role with an overall purpose to coordinate, monitor, influence, and ultimately ensure the installation of our surface mounted platforms are on time and within budget. You will champion streamlined business practices and understand the critical need to deliver superior customer service every time.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Delivering project management to minimise risk, ensure customer service expectations are exceeded, and deliver profitable project outcomes.
* Juggling numerous projects at different stages of the installation process; from ensuring dispatch from factory proceeds as scheduled through to detailed handover with our state site supervisors to ensure no project slippage.
* Provide practical technical support to site supervisors and installers
* Negotiating manufacturing and delivery timeframes to meet customer expectations.
* Providing technical problem-solving support to the on-site installers
* Managing a wide range of data within a variety of systems
* Ensuring senior management receives regular updates and reporting with regard to current and in the pipeline construction projects.
* Providing strategic project management support and guidance to site supervisors and sub-contractors with regard to safety, labour allocation, resource consumption, and logistics.
* Prepare parts lists for manufacture.
* Championing continuous improvement initiatives to further enhance lean operational principles.
To be considered for this role you will:
* Have technical/trade experience working within the construction industry ideally underpinned by formal trade qualifications. (Building/Construction or Engineering Qualifications)
* Have the ability to work under pressure, be quick thinking to solve challenges on the run and have personal resilience to juggle the competing priorities of the position.
* Have an industry style appreciation for our client's reputation to provide rapid response for emergency client needs.
