An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and capable Project/Site Engineer to join a growing civil construction team working on complex and high-value infrastructure projects across regional and remote Australia. This role is offered on a FIFO or DIDO basis, providing flexibility for the right candidate.
You will play a key role in delivering site-based engineering functions that align with project schedules, budgets, safety, and quality standards. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your expertise will help drive the success of our projects from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate on-site engineering activities in line with specifications, timelines, and budget.
- Develop construction methodologies and detailed work plans in conjunction with the project team.
- Maintain and report on 4-week look-aheads, delay notices, EOT claims, and construction programs.
- Provide accurate reporting on cost, time, and quality metrics.
- Drive value-engineered solutions and support procurement and subcontractor management.
- Ensure QA documentation, ITPs, and safety standards are met to the highest level.
- Lead site coordination meetings and provide engineering support to supervisors and crews.
- Identify project risks and manage variations and contractual claims.
- Collaborate with estimating teams for cost and resource planning.
Training & Development:

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 3–6 years of experience in civil infrastructure, ideally with a strong site-based background.
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Competent in QA systems, WHS compliance, and interpreting construction documentation.
- Proficient in ASTA PowerProject and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a proactive mindset.
