About the Role
The role of Vocational Education and Training Advisor involves supporting the delivery of education programs to the community, apprentices, trainees, and their employers.
This position forms part of a team responsible for providing regulatory, quality assurance, program administration, and advisory functions for vocational education and training in the regional area.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a point of contact and provide advice and support to employers, apprentices, and trainees to promote successful completion of apprenticeships and traineeships.
* Monitor regulatory compliance of employers, students, and registered training organizations to ensure standards are met.
* Exercise delegations under relevant legislation, contracts, and program requirements to meet regulatory obligations.
* Provide guidance on skills recognition processes to ensure customers have relevant information.
* Administer vocational education and training programs and projects to deliver high-quality services.
* Conduct presentations to promote vocational education and training programs and services.
* Prepare correspondence and reports to support operations.
