We are a Civil Infrastructure Specialist with a strong reputation in Ground Engineering with involvement in the construction of various Geotechnical based infrastructure projects across the East Coast of Australia. **Main Duties**
**Requirements for the role**:
- Bachelor of Civil/Mechanical Engineering degree desired, however, a Supervisor or Superintendent with exceptional experience will be considered.
- Minimum 10 years management experience (Senior Project Manager and above)
- Ability to develop and maintain positive client experiences, assist in tendering for upcoming work and manage projects
- Strong communication and written skills
- Top presentation, desire to drive business to the next level
- Demonstrated ability to drive your teams to achieve outstanding results
- Ensure that construction work complies with Company HSEQ standards and contract specifications
- Develop, review, and manage construction planning to ensure projects are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates, while authorising and overseeing various construction activities and subcontractors.
- Liaise with the Project Manager on phase completion dates, contribute to budget preparation and reporting, and report to senior management and committees on project progress and corrective actions.
- Attend site to monitor construction progress, review contractual claims, modify design and construction methods, and oversee yard activities in consultation with the RC Plant Manager.
- Engagement and leading staff a must - Mentor, motivate, and lead staff to build strong project teams, develop new teams and facilitate growth with the Operations Manager, resolve on-site industrial relations problems, and supervise, schedule, and coordinate site staff and resources with PMs to achieve targets.
- Identify and propose resourcing and work methodologies for tenders, cost risks with the Estimating team, review EOI's and Tenders for accuracy, and communicate production information to the Bid Manager.
- Maintain a strategic role in client liaison by representing the organisation in discussions with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers, collaborating with the PM to ensure client satisfaction, and staying informed about competitors' operations in the area.
