About the Role
As a Network Engineer at Informatech, you'll be responsible for delivering secure network design, planning and implementation activities across a range of high-profile Defence programs. You'll work closely with other technical specialists to resolve complex issues, optimise network performance and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Investigate, diagnose and resolve network issues, providing expert advice and preventative strategies.
* Manage support requests and ensure problems are addressed in line with standards, policies and procedures.
* Design and implement network changes and maintenance activities.
* Apply knowledge of Defence and industry data, voice and audio networking technologies.
* Identify alternative solutions and mitigation strategies for complex network problems.
* Contribute to other network engineering tasks as required.
Skills and Experience
* Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or a related field.
* Strong experience in network security, including enterprise proxy and load balancing systems.
* Background working across diverse network systems and architectures.
* Proven ability to deliver secure network solutions in complex environments.
* Ideally experience working within Defence or other highly secure Federal Government environments.
