The Senior Commissioning Engineer will ensure substation primary plant and secondary systems are commissioned with high accuracy and precision. This role provides a professional technical consultancy service through the application of well-developed engineering capability.
Key responsibilities include commissioning and integration of substation projects, provision of testing and commissioning services, procedural technical compliance and risk analysis components, development of commissioning plans, outage plans, inspection and test plans and secondary works programs.
Effective communication of technical information to non-technical stakeholders is critical. The ideal candidate will possess high level critical thinking and problem solving with a collaborative working style.
* Acceptable qualifications: Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering
* Full working rights within Australia essential
* Minimum 8 years experience in delivering multi-discipline complex high voltage grid connection projects with an engineering design, build & commission operating environment background
* Dedicated, driven and hard working, going above and beyond to solve problems and meet deadlines
* Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels and successfully negotiate with senior level stakeholders
* Comprehensive understanding of risk management and knowledge of quality assurance principles
