We are seeking a hands‐on and customer‐focused Application Support Specialist to join XSYS in Melbourne, Australia. This role supports customers and internal sales teams by delivering technical expertise, product training, and application and equipment support — including a strong understanding of relevant software systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver product training to customers and internal sales teams
* Provide technical and application support across prepress workflows
* Ability to understand software systems and communicate technical concepts effectively
* Strong software literacy with the ability to quickly learn and support new platforms
* Specialize in prepress techniques including software updates and system support
* Support all new product launches including implementation, training and technical guidance
* Stay up to date with overseas product developments and industry innovations
* Support troubleshooting, optimization and best-practice implementation for customers
* Assist sales teams with product demonstrations and technical expertise
* Prepare training materials, reports and audit documentation
* Build strong long-term customer relationships
* Travel to customer sites across Australia as required
Requirements
* Experience in application support, technical service, prepress, flexoprinting or similar industries
* Good understanding of software applications, user workflows, and technical problem-solving
* Strong knowledge of prepress workflows and plate-making processes
* Confident with software installation, updates, and troubleshooting
* Excellent communication and training skills
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
