Coach Builder (Trade Qualified) or Apprentice Coach Builder 4-day work week | Strong pay (assessed on experience) | Warana, Sunshine Coast QLD
If you take pride in your work, this one's worth reading.
There's a specific kind of person who gets frustrated doing the same job twice. You like a challenge. You want to look at something when it's done and know it didn't exist before you touched it. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
At Bella Manufacturing, no two builds are the same. One week you're fitting out a mobile command vehicle. The next, a custom food truck for a national brand, or a shipping container conversion for a corporate client. The variety here isn't a selling point we invented for this ad. It's just what we do.
We're hiring multiple trade qualified Coach Builders (or strong apprentices) to keep pace with a heavy pipeline of secured work. This isn't a panic hire. It's planned growth in a business that's been building for over 14 years.
What you'll actually be doing
Coachbuilding, body assembly, panel work, and fitout fabrication across a genuinely diverse range of custom builds. You'll read drawings, work to spec, solve problems on the fly, and hold yourself to a standard that shows in the finished product. You'll work with a 12-person floor team in a large, clean, well-organised workshop.
Real examples of what rolls out of this workshop: custom food trucks and trailers, shipping container conversions, mobile showrooms (including national fleet work for B&D Roller Doors), and mobile emergency response vehicles for clients like Brisbane Airport.
What we're looking for
A trade qualified Coach Builder, or someone who's deep into an apprenticeship with the skills to back it up. Solid fabrication ability. Pride in accurate, tidy work. A team-first mindset, because the people here look out for each other and they notice when someone doesn't.
You don't have to be the loudest person in the room. You do have to show up, care about the quality of what you're making, and be someone your teammates can rely on.
What you'll get
4-day work week, because we genuinely believe people do better work when they have time to recover and live their lives. Strong pay rates discussed openly based on your experience and what you bring to the role. Stable, long-term work backed by a forward pipeline that isn't going anywhere. Monthly team BBQ. And the kind of workshop environment where skilled people actually want to come to work.
You'd be working directly under our Workshop Manager from day one, with clear direction and everything you need to hit the ground running. No being thrown in the deep end.
