The Role
At Rangeway PS, the MCS works closely with the principal and is a valued member of the Executive Leadership Team. We are seeking a passionate, experienced and effective MCS who will ideally build and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, parents and community. The successful applicant should think critically to problem solve and display agility and work collaboratively as an effective team member to support the school's business objectives. Applicants who value feedback and seek opportunities to learn, grow and develop and understands and models our values will be highly regarded.
Our MCS is responsible for managing the school's financial, physical, and human resources. This may include, finance, budgeting and procurement, Building and assets, including information and communication technology (ICT) and recruitment, selection and induction. Experience with promotions, public relations and School and student administration would be ideal.
Reporting directly to the Principal, the MCS supervises all support staff (such as cleaners and school officers), manages staff performance and development, and works with the Executive Leadership Team to strategically manage and lead change. The MCS would be working with individuals, teams, committees and external stakeholders to support and progress the school's strategic priority areas, whilst ensuring administrative processes are compliant with relevant legislation and Department policy and guidelines.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

o Demonstrated sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
o Demonstrated sound human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and systems.
o Demonstrated ability to provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business and marketing plans.
o Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
