Amplify your impact at a world top 50 University Be surrounded by extraordinary ideas - and the people who discover them The Opportunity The Contracts & Commercial Solutions team is seeking a professional Strategic Sourcing Specialist with high-level expertise in planning, delivering, and deploying complex strategic sourcing activities across the University. This role involves close collaboration with senior internal and external stakeholders across faculties and divisions to manage high-value tenders and strategic sourcing projects. The focus is on ICT vendors and relevant contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business outcomes.
The responsibilities include business case development, market engagement, leading negotiations, and extensive supplier and stakeholder management. A key aspect of the role is driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying and mitigating risks.
To be successful, you will have: Relevant experience and/or education/training in an IT environment Experience in establishing and managing ICT commercial contracts, providing strategic advice, project management, reporting, and consulting at a high level A strong understanding of ICT goods and services and emerging market trends Experience in competitive procurement functions, sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder engagement from a commercial or business background To Apply Please send your latest CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for this role.
