About The Role
We are looking for a Marine Sales Professional to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing expert advice on our marine products, ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Manage your own sales pipeline from inquiry to delivery.
The primary role will be managing the sale and procurement of used and consignment boats.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and preferences.
* Sourcing of used and consignment stock, managing consignment administration.
* Demonstrate a strong knowledge of marine products, including boats, engines, accessories, and maintenance services.
* Effectively communicate pricing, promotions, and financing options to customers.
* Close sales and achieve team sales targets.
* Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on leads and inquiries.
Mandatory Skills Criteria:
* Excellent client, personal relationship, and communication skills
* Be proactive, self-motivated, and tenacious.
* Be resourceful and seek out solutions to problems.
* Able to work well within a team environment.
* Trustworthy, reliable, and efficient work ethic including capability to manage boat deliveries within set timeframes.
* General familiarity with the intricacies of marine accessories and equipment, including electronics, safety gear, and fishing gear.
* Hold a current car and boat license.
* Have a passion for boating and the water.
Desirable Attributes:
* Tertiary qualifications in Sales and Marketing.
* Experience with buying and selling used stock boats and managing consignment contracts.
* Forklift Ticket
