Heritage Lodge – a 103‐bed residential aged care facility located in Murwillumbah, Tweed Shire, 13 km south of the Queensland border. Surrounded by homely comforts and beautiful gardens, it feels like a close‐knit family.
Role
You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, creating a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will make a difference, building relationships with residents and their families.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
* Vacuum, mop and polish floors.
* Dust, polish and general tidying.
* Clean bathroom facilities.
* Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other furniture located in the residents' rooms.
* Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
* Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.

Requirements
* Ideally, background in cleaning or housekeeping within aged care or hospitality.
* Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team.
* Availability to work various shifts across various days.
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.).
* Complete a police check.
