Diesel Fitter - Field Support Technician

Joyce Mechanical Services delivers maintenance and support solutions to all industries, this allows our clients to increase their productivity and reduce their operating costs. We have developed a purpose-built workshop facility to ensure we have the capacity and resources to deliver our full-service offering to the Mackay region and surrounding areas.
We are looking for two Field Support Technicians (Diesel Fitters). These positions will be working in our Mackay rebuild workshop with regular site work supporting machines pre and post rebuild, as well as crew relief coverage.
The Role
- Assist with the demode of machinery and prepare for transport.
- Provide onsite maintenance and support to machinery returning to work post-rebuild.
- Run diagnostics and fault find.
- Crew relief coverage.
- Ability to work away for between 1-7 days at a time, DS and NS.
- Flexible with urgent call-outs.
Key Requirements
- Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or equivalent.
- Must be living in Mackay or willing to relocate.
- Previous experience in bare chassis rebuilds and HME maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic skills and a thorough understanding of diesel mechanics.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Various site inductions are highly regarded.

- Hourly rate $60p.h in town $75p.h onsite + paid travel.
