We're working to enhance social connections, reduce social isolation, and foster a sense of belonging through lay‑back and fun social gatherings.
We're looking for volunteers to help us run monthly events on Friday evenings for the local community. Your involvement will include weekly planning meetings and some tasks to make the events happen.
Our fun events rely on people to fulfil the following roles:
* Meeting organiser
* Event planning
* Logistics
* Promotions (including photography)
* Team leadership
* Procurement
* Handy person jobs
* Health & Safety (risk management)
* Surveys and evaluation
* MC
We don't need you to have formal skills or qualifications, just be willing to jump in and help.
As a volunteer you will have access to our volunteer reward system which includes discounts on program registrations and venue hire.
