Senior Child Contact Workers are essential in facilitating positive relationships between children and their non-resident parents. As a Senior Child Contact Worker, you will work closely with families to ensure safe and effective contact arrangements, while also supporting the development of strong, healthy relationships between children and their non-resident parent.
Responsibilities
1. Co-ordinate safe and suitable transfers of children between parents;
2. Provide support to assist separated parents to develop and maintain positive relationships with their children;
3. Work towards enhancing children's relationships with their non-resident parents;
4. Support the Team Leader in providing overall management of the service.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to community welfare practice (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Social Science);
* Demonstrated relevant experience;
* Current understanding of legislation related to children's contact services;
* A valid driver's license.
