What you'll be doing
* Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care (qualified applications only), meal preparation, and household tasks and transportation - appointments and shopping
* Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in social and recreational activities
* Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant parties
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
* Collaborating with the broader care team to coordinate and deliver integrated support
What we're looking for
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
* A dependable and responsible attitude towards fulfilling your duties.
* A caring, empathetic and patient approach when working with vulnerable clients
* Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
* A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle to travel between client homes
* A commitment to upholding the values and principles of the aged and disability care sectors
Job Type: Temp to perm
Pay: $27.00 – $50.65 per hour
