About the Role
Kununurra Wholesale Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee the company's purchasing, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations. This role is critical to ensuring efficient supply chain processes, timely deliveries, and strong supplier relationships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Planning, organising, directing, and coordinating supply, storage, and distribution operations
* Developing and implementing purchasing and inventory management strategies
* Managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules
* Overseeing warehouse operations, stock control, and order fulfilment processes
* Coordinating transport and delivery schedules to ensure timely distribution to customers
* Monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and preventing shortages or overstocking
* Implementing systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline logistics
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, transport, and workplace health and safety regulations
* Supervising warehouse, delivery, and logistics staff
* Analysing supply chain performance and preparing operational reports for management
* Managing budgets related to procurement, warehousing, and distribution activities
* Resolving supply chain issues and maintaining high customer service standards
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor degree or higher qualification
* At least 1 year experience in the similar role
