As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth. You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of products and be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Opportunity Identification: Utilise industry trends to identify and generate new business opportunities, maintain strong relationships with key clients, and stay updated on market offerings, competitors' products, and pricing to drive sales and achieve organisational goals.
* Sales Strategy Execution: Present the value of our products and services to uncover growth opportunities, analyse data to spot market trends, lead prospecting efforts, strategic account planning, and pricing negotiations, ensuring a solid understanding of sales contracts.
* Customer Service Delivery: Participate in team meetings, maintain accurate client records, provide regular reports to management, resolve customer issues promptly, and ensure high satisfaction rates aligned with company standards.
Requirements
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in roles such as inside sales or BDM.
* Background: Strong background in computer hardware, electronics, or IoT.
* Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, ability to manage competing deadlines, and perform under pressure.
* Software Proficiency: Proficient in SAP & CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Travel: Willingness to travel within VIC and occasionally interstate.
