About This Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team, based in Cairns.
* As a key member of our Water Infrastructure group, you will be responsible for delivering projects across water and wastewater treatment, civil infrastructure, and defence sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and lead bid management efforts.
* Act as the Project Manager, taking full responsibility for project planning, delivery, and outcomes.
* Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project delivery in line with our project management framework.
* Manage client and stakeholder engagement while ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide commercial oversight of projects while mentoring and supporting team members' development.
Requirements
* 5–10 years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects for local and state governments within the consulting industry.
* Bachelor of Engineering with Chartered status (or working towards) with Engineers Australia desirable.
* Strong project management expertise and ability to deliver projects from inception to completion.
* Solid technical background in general civil engineering projects.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and contract management skills.
