Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll for ~350 weekly employees
* Lead, mentor, and support 2 in the payroll team
* Lead two critical initiatives - Pay Day Super implementation and T&A system integration
* Ensure accurate processing of wages, PAYG, tax, and superannuation
* Interpret awards, overtime rules, and allowances, including manual calculations where required
* Drive process improvements and efficiencies across payroll operationsLead two initiatives - Pay Day Super implementation and T&A system integration
Key Requirements
* Proven end-to-end payroll experience, ideally in a high-volume weekly payroll environment
* Experience with MicrOpay essential
* Strong understanding of awards, overtime, and allowances
* Prior leadership experience preferred, or demonstrated ability to step up into a leadership role
* Strong interest in process improvement and system enhancement
* Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Hands‐on approach with willingness to support all aspects of payroll
