Strategic Initiatives Advisor, SEO2 (IDENTIFIED)
Temporary full-time appointment for a period of up to 3 years.
Providing high level support and advice across Public Schools NSW to accelerate educational outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students.
Eligibility
This position is designated for the employment of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants must provide documentation upon appointment.
Responsibilities
* Provide high level support and advice to public schools regarding Aboriginal education strategies.
* Develop and implement initiatives to improve educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
* Contribute to policy development for Aboriginal education, including Language and Culture programs in schools.
Qualifications
Applicants must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Knowledge of NSW Aboriginal education policy and practices is preferred.
Additional Requirements
This is a child‐related role. As a condition of employment you will be required to provide a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number and complete a National Criminal Record Check.
Benefits
Total Remuneration Package: $198,255. Package includes salary ($174,905), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
