The primary objective of this position is to coordinate the development of Housing Portfolio's program of works and respective estimates/negotiations with contractors, as well as manage staff working on compliance inspections to ensure the required numbers of inspections are carried out.
Key responsibilities include planning and managing inspections, services, and performance programs, as well as coordinating the development of quarterly maintenance works programs. Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and contractors is also essential, ensuring effective contract management and resolving project conflicts or delivery issues promptly.
You will lead a team of Asset Performance Officers, providing guidance, managing workload allocations, and overseeing staff performance and professional development. Additionally, you will oversee estimating and negotiation processes with contractors, ensuring compliance with government standards and initiating abatement action for substandard work.
A key aspect of this role is contributing to compliance, risk, and performance management programs, monitoring program delivery to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Accurate financial forecasting and expenditure review are also essential, contributing to successful program outcomes.
