We are now seeking an experienced and driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality recruitment and labour hire services.

The Role

As Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of the recruitment and labour hire function. This role combines leadership, compliance, client management and hands‐on recruitment to ensure operational efficiency, service excellence and sustainable growth.

You will work closely with senior management while leading consultants and support staff to meet business objectives, KPIs and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Team Leadership

* Oversee daily recruitment and labour hire operations to ensure efficiency, compliance and quality outcomes
* Lead, mentor and support recruitment consultants and administrative staff
* Monitor team performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement
* Foster a positive, professional and high-performance team culture

Recruitment & Labour Hire Management

* Manage end-to‐end recruitment processes for temporary and permanent placements
* Oversee job advertising, screening, interviewing, onboarding and site inductions
* Ensure suitable candidate allocation to labour hire and recruitment vacancies
* Support reverse marketing and proactive candidate placement strategies

Client Relationship Management

* Receive and manage staffing requests from new and existing clients
* Provide accurate quotations for labour hire and recruitment services
* Maintain and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication
* Ensure client satisfaction and service delivery standards are met or exceeded

Compliance & Risk Management

* Ensure compliance with employment legislation, WHS requirements and labour hire regulations
* Oversee candidate documentation, licensing, inductions and site compliance
* Maintain accurate records and ensure payroll and invoicing inputs are correct

Business & Financial Performance

* Contribute to sales growth, margin management and operational profitability
* Monitor labour utilisation, costs and operational performance metrics
* Support business planning, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in recruitment, labour hire or a similar Senior Recruitment Consultant focused role
* Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
* Strong client relationship and customer service skills
* Proven ability to meet deadlines, KPIs and operational targets
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Intermediate to advanced computer, literacy and numeracy skills
* Experience in labour hire compliance, WHS and industrial relations
* Sales or account management experience within recruitment
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field (preferred but not essential)
