Katherine Toyota is seeking a Service Department Manager at the branch in Katherine. As the Service Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the productive, efficient and profitable management of the department's operations and newly built modern workshop facility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead a small team of technicians, apprentices and customer facing staff.
* Ensure a customer focused approach to the department's operations is maintained.
* Lead technical staff through complex diagnostic repairs.
* Maintain manufacturer relationships.
* Manage warranty submissions.
* Develop, implement and maintain standard operational procedures.
* Manage staff training and development plans.
* Understand workshop performance & KPI data.
* Maintain a safe, clean, compliant workshop and customer reception facility.

Preferred skills and Requirements:

* Minimum Certificate III or above qualification, in an Automotive Trade.
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Workshop Controller or Lead Technician.
* Minimum 1 year experience as an Automotive Workshop or Dealership Service Department Manager.
* Strong commitment to achieving Customer satisfaction.
* Strong Automotive technical, diagnostic, repair and service knowledge.
* Excellent team leadership skills and techniques.
* Ability to provide learning and training support to all staff.
* Proficient in Dealer/Workshop data entry PC Systems.
* Ability to clearly and confidently communicate in both written and verbal communications.
